OK, here we go. I have done this so many times, but one more for you...1Th 4:13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who sleep, that you not grieve, as the rest also, not having hope. (Who is Paul talking to and what is the reason for saying it?? This is really important to establish because it gives context to these verses. You ALL say this is about rapture, but Paul was speaking about something specifically. He starts off talking about purity and then about working with your own hands and being practical. Then he begins to deal with a question that has been addressed to him from the people in Thessalonica, "What happens when we die?" He had just told them to be practical and then you actually think he starts talking about flying off into the air? Not hardly... He starts talking about those who have died as believers as the asleep in the grave. They are awaiting the Resurrection of the dead. He says "don't grieve for them because they will rise again."
1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will also bring with Him all those who have fallen asleep through Jesus. (Wait a minute, YHVH will bring with him when he comes?? Why would he say that?? Because when YHVH comes to earth, everyone thinks we are going to him - FALSE; He will bring the life essence of everyone whose body is still asleep in the ground. So, they can be resurrected and joined back with their spirits. Everyone who sleeps in the ground, their body decays and their spirit is rejoined back to YHVH.
1Th 4:15 For we say this to you in the Word of the Lord, that we the living who remain to the coming of the Lord will not at all go before those who have fallen asleep. (So, he assures them that those who are alive will not rise before the asleep will.)
1Th 4:16 Because the Lord Himself shall come down from Heaven with a commanding shout of an archangel's voice, and with God's trumpet. And the dead in Christ will rise again first. (The dead in Christ are NOT the asleep!! That is a common misconception. What Paul is speaking about here is the order of the Resurrection (ONE ONLY) Christ, the first fruits, then everyone else. The dead are those who have died to their own flesh. They have been beheaded, or lost the right to guide their own life. Now, we need to understand what these words actually mean...
1Th 4:17 ThenG1899 weG2249 which are aliveG2198 and remainG4035 From G4012 and G3007; to leave all around, that is, (passively) survive: - remain.) shall be caught upG726 (From a derivative of G138; to seize (in various applications): - catch (away, up), pluck, pull, take (by force. 1Th 4:18 So, then, comfort each other with these words. (So, the resurrected asleep, the dead in Christ and everyone else alive is taken by great force, like in how you grab someone up out of a 6' hole and stand them upon their feet. Caught up has absolutely zero connotation of flying off into space or heaven, and we all meet the Lord where?? IN THE AIR!! Which only means breathing atmosphere. Anotherwards, everyone starts breathing again!! (Ezekiel 37 tells the whole story) And so shall we be with the Lord forever. But actually he is in us. We are the tabernacle of YHVH and where he will dwell forever. He is the tree of life and he will give life to our mortal bodies every day forever. It was people who did not have the holy Ghost and conjured these things in their mind and imagined a vain thing that has led the entire church world astray. You must understand what these words mean, not just accept what some carnal man said they meant. (Darby, Scoffield) I teach by Revelation Knowledge, not by natural understanding. I have been formed by the very hand of YHVH and he breathed his breath into me one year ago. Now, I can never die. I am a first fruit unto YHVH, faithful in all his house. He has entrusted these secrets to me, but you all would rather believe lies. How do I reconcile your arrogance?? I am nothing, but I am also a manufactured man made by the hand of YHVH!! Will you please listen and get ready for the end of all things. If you do not your hearts will fail you for fear of what is just about to be revealed.
